Cornerstone presents special Easter program
ST. IGNATIUS — On Easter Sunday at 10 a.m., Cornerstone Faith Center will present a special program about the man who rose to offer everyone “hope.” Everyone is invited to the St. Ignatius Elementary School multi-purpose room for this presentation. Easter celebrated at sunrise service
ST. IGNATIUS — Christian Missionary and Alliance Church’s Easter sunrise service will take place on April 20 at 7 a.m. in Good Old Days Park in St. Ignatius. The event includes the Mission gospel ringers and other special music. Pastries and breakfast items will be served after the service.
Monday, April 21
Mission Irrigation District holds emergency meeting
An emergency meeting of the Mission Irrigation District will take place Monday, April 21 at 4 p.m. There will be discussion and possible action regarding nine topics, including appointment of interim leadership, employment o of MID staff, records/finances, legal representation and CSKT vs Water Court. A public comment period for agenda item will follow, with MID irrigators given priority.

State convention report to be shared at DAR meeting
ST. IGNATIUS — Kuilix Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Tuesday, April 22, at the United Methodist Church, Highway 93, north of St. Ignatius (top of the hill). Refreshments will be served at noon. Regent Bonnie Huber will lead the 1 p.m. meeting, which will be a report on the DAR State Convention in Great Falls. Prospective members are welcome. Saturday, May 3
Watch Fort Connah Trading Post come to life
ST. IGNATIUS — On Saturday and Sunday May 3-4, the Fort Connah Restoration Society will host an open house and rendezvous, which depicts life during the fur-trading era of Montana. This is a great opportunity to see the historic Hudson Bay’s Fort Connah Trading Post come to life. This event is free to the public and includes demonstrations of time-era activities, crafts and games.
Main events are held Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Early set-up takes place on Friday, May 2, for campers and vendors. Fort Connah is located 6 miles north of St. Ignatius.
